Timberlake's riding program is recognized as one of the finest in America. The Directors' extensive experience on the National "A" show circuit, eventing, and fox hunting has given them the knowledge to select the very best instructors and horses available.
As with all of our other activities, safety is foundational to our riding program. This is established first through a teaching staff that is without rival. We feel strongly that a brief certification course can never substitute for long years of experience and so we hire our riding instructors primarily through our own contacts in the horse community. We also believe that there are always at least two instructors in the ring, one has two legs and the other has four. Because of this it is not unusual for the directors to consider and ride dozens of horses to find the perfect fit for our campers.
Your counselors were excellent and Adrien enjoyed every minute of it. Paris, France
There is also a special partnership that develops between a boy and his horse, especially when they leave the ring. There is no better way to see our mountains than exploring the high country on horseback.
