Here at camp we are excited about offering new activities for our boys to try and this year we will be adding pottery to our list of amazing opportunities.  Through our rocketry program we have noticed that boys love to be able to create things for a purpose.  We believe pottery takes this idea to the next level!  Boys will be able to take clay (we might like to call it mud) and turn it into something that is useful for eating or drinking by spinning it on a wheel and firing it in a kiln!  Director Dan’s wife (and proud Iroquois), Annie Singletary, will be the activity director and she works locally in Black Mountain both as a studio potter and ceramics teacher.
