Once again, it was another A-MA-ZING day at Camp Timberlake! We started off the day with a scrumptious helping of scrambled eggs, hash browns and biscuits! After we raised our voices over the mountaintops during the morning yell, we were all treated to a wonderful chapel talk by Counselor Buck W. who spoke on the question of “Who is Man?”. After chapel we cleaned up the cabins and got started on our activities! In Rocketry, Brent S. got started on a new rocket that looks like it really is going soar! In Swimming, Colby S. was stellar in performing his streamline and dolphin kick and is making great strides. Carter B. and Kenneth H. crushed it in Airsoft today! Henry M. performed a backhand roll in Kayaking and Richard B. got a bull’s-eye in Archery! For lunch we all had a Greek feast of pita bread and chicken and chips with cookies for dessert! After rest time and free time, where Jack E. and Mason G. caught two-pound bass each, we got ready for 3rd period and tons more fun! In Riflery, Brenden D. hit a bulls-eye and in Soccer, Callum B. played great in the goal and really helped the other kids do well. In Team Sports, Drew W. played quarterback and dominated the field of play. For dinner we had another fiesta of Taco casserole and for dessert we had mini strawberry pies! YUM! We hiked on up to the council ring following dinner for the nights Little Chief ceremony! This is a ceremony were the boys are rewarded for their bars and marks. These bars will be awarded with marks that go towards Little Chief promotions. These promotions reflect investment in camp and character as demonstrated in cabins and are a beautiful celebration of the gifts your sons and grandsons bring to camp! Here are the promotions that were awarded:

Tonight’s evening activity was a hot game of Inferno, where the two tribes must fight to keep each of their fires alive while putting the other one out! As always we cannot wait to get up and have more fun and adventures tomorrow with our Timberlake family!
