We woke up to a beautiful sunny morning at camp Timberlake. The campers got to sleep in an extra hour, but were still jumping at the heels to start an adventurous day of rest once Reveille went off. We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast, went to chapel afterwards, and prayed for all the cabins by counselor. Afterwards we had tournaments which consisted of building dams, catching frogs, and playing a solid game of frisbee golf! In frog catching, which I must say takes much bravery Nate S. crushed it! In dam building the bulldogs which was led by team captain Drew S. won with a creative touch by incorporating the story of David and Goliath into their dam! Hugh S. was very creative with his Aztec pyramid sand castles which landed him in first place! Lastly, but not least Sunday at the Masters team butterfingers flew into first place with their powerful team skills. This team included Daniel M. and Brennen B. from Little Piney! The campers finished up the evening with grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, skits and songs in chapel, and finally with tribal soccer between the two tribes Iroquois and Seminole; in tribal soccer Scott K. bent it like Beckham around the wall into the upper right 90! Everyday camp Timberlake is filled with exciting memories, new friends, and fun adventures. Thankfully today was another one of those days.
